250 years of Green Chartreuse
1764 – 2014, Green Chartreuse celebrates its 250th anniversary
A website and an exhibition have been created in order to celebrate and share this moment.
An exhibition entitled “Green Chartreuse 1764 – 2014: A story that is only just beginning” opened to the public on 17th May 2014 at the Chartreuse Cellars in Voiron. It enables visitors to discover the liqueur made by the monks of the Grande Chartreuse through its colour, its aromas, its taste and its values.
Much of the content of the exhibition is available online via this website, which also allows visitors to contribute to the Grand Book of Green Chartreuse Recipes by adding their own recipes for dishes and cocktails using Green Chartreuse.
Highlights for 2015
